Boston to London
It was a full day of traveling in luxury. We got picked up at 6:15 am and made the half hour journey to Hanscom Airfield. We met Danny and Diane as we boarded the private jet. Shortly after, Peter and Elizabeth joined the party as we settled in for the 6 hour flight to London.
While onboard, we enjoyed breakfast and a late lunch. The food was quite good with the highlight being a tasty filet with asparagus and potatoes. Ashley and Elizabeth were able to join the captain in the cockpit for a brief flying lesson.
Upon arrival, we were whisked away in a Mercedes van and taken directly to our hotel. The Claremont Charing Cross is a grand, historic hotel set right beside Charing Cross Station, blending old-world elegance with a prime location in the heart of London. It’s just a short walk to many of the city’s attractions and the theatre district. After quickly unpacking, Ashley and I made it down to the gym for a quick workout before heading to bed for the evening. Tomorrow promised to be a long day.
