Morning Glory

On this lazy Monday morning, we slowly eased into the day.  I enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee while reading the Boston Globe, and completing the daily mini-crossword and 4x4 KenKen  puzzles.  After Ashley cooked the rest of her tuna, we ate some of it with the dry seaweed that she brought from home.  I found a cool spot to read a few chapters from Benjamin Franklin’s biography by Walter Isaacson.  One great quote that stood out to me was, “Knowledge was obtained rather by the use of the ear than of the tongue.”

We eventually made our way outside for a short stroll around town to each lunch at El Chocolate again.  We dined on beef soup and grilled shrimp – their soups are outstanding! Before heading back, we grabbed our laundry, which cost a whopping $4 (washed, dried and folded).

For dinner, we ended up back at the market and ate with the locals.  This time we tried the cow intestines, and yucca with cheese.  We also ordered a carne empanada for tomorrow.  While dining, we ran into the owners of Morning Glory.
