Fishing Trip

 oday was our epic 10 hour fishing adventure with a Korean captain.  This fact guaranteed a successful journey as we enjoyed Korean barbecue on our four hour trip out to our fishing spot.  The three hours of fishing were jam packed as we caught a halibut, several cods, rockfish and yellow eye.  Some of the highlights included Haein pulling in the halibut with a pretty large cod on one cast.  I reeled in a 3 foot cod, which the captain claimed was the biggest one caught this year.

The return trip was also filled with card playing, and eating — this time it was sashimi, made with the fresh cut rockfish and yellow eye.  We met two Korean guys who were cousins who really enjoyed the hospitality.
