October 6: Boulder Beach

After getting a restful night’s sleep at the Wink Hotel in Cape Town, we headed out for some grocery shopping and lunch at a Korean restaurant.  I absolutely loved the food, which probably meant it wasn’t authentic.

Next, it was off to Boulder Beach to see penguins.  And, holy cow  Batman did we see penguins — they were everywhere.  They had nests in the dunes, strolled on the beach and frolicked in the surf.  

We camped at Froggy Pond resort where we had to set up our rooftop tents for the first time.  Hopefully, it will get easier next time. The wind was whipping off the ocean -  should be an interesting night.
