October 27: In Search of the Big 5

It was a long day of driving to Etosha National Park but it was well worth it as we saw two of the big five.  While conducting a self-guided safari, we observed a beautiful pack of zebras, a herd of blue wildebeest, a few giraffes, and many springboks. But, the best of our sightings was during the evening when we saw the elephant and rhino at the water hole right by the campsite after 9:00 pm.  It was an absolutely incredible spectacle.
