London to Boston

It was an early wakeup as our alarms sounded at 4:30 am. We completed our final packing and headed out to meet our driver. Not unexpectedly, we passed plenty of late night/early morning Pride parade revelers still going strong.

We made it to Heathrow in about 30 minutes and quickly made our way through security, well ahead of our 8:40 am takeoff. JetBlue Mint didn’t disappoint — this first/business class experience was absolutely wonderful. We were given a welcome drink followed by a delicious breakfast. Although super comfortable, I wasn’t able to sleep, but I watched Ali, which piqued my interest in this icon. The luxury flight concluded with a light snack and a smooth landing.

After saying goodbye to Peter and Elizabeth, we boarded our limo and were whisked away to our home — back to reality.
