October 24: Palmwag Campsite

We were up at 5:00 am as we explored the campsite in the hope of seeing some wildlife.  We were not disappointed as we all got to see a small group of elephants eating breakfast. These gigantic beasts devoured tree branches while calmly walking in their domain.  It was a treat to be so close to these apparently gentle giants.

For the remainder of the day, we relaxed by the pool, drank a couple of beers and ate pizza.  It was a well-deserved respite after a long day yesterday.
