Wednesday, September 6
We took care of a few last minute preparations before boarding the ferry to Faroe Island with a scheduled departure for 20:00 and arrival tomorrow at 16:00.

It was a full out planning day for Faroe Island. We bought tickets for a fishing trip ($180), island tour ($200) and Átjan Wild Islands Festival ($400)! The Atjan Wild Islands Festival ticket includes our 10K trail run entry fee; hot tub by the sea; adventure film screen; and a weekend full of parties and socials.

We drove back into the city to have our car repaired. The front passenger tire needed to have its sensor replaced and the back passenger tire was flat. It turns out that the flat was caused by a razor blade – not sure how this happened but we had both repairs done for about $170. I also bought 12 beers for $40 – everything is expensive in Iceland.
