September 14: Goodbye Faroe Islands

It was another quiet day as we made final preparations for our ferry trip to Denmark. It was the first bad weather day that we had on the Faroe Islands with strong winds and whipping winds. 

We were the second car in line at the port and boarded the ferry without issue.  The sea was rough as we departed the port and probably caused some seasickness for a few of the passengers. After a couple of hot showers, we both collapsed after a busy week filled with lots of hiking.
