August 29: Drangsnes Hot Pots

We were up early for our picturesque three-hour drive to Drangsnes.  Our first and only stop was at the “hot pots” in this beautiful coastal village where we soaked in one of three tubs. It was the perfect location for Goldilocks as one had the choice of a hot, warm and cool tub to soak the old bones. We tried out all three and then used the accompanying shower before settling in at our campsite for the remainder of the day.

Once settled at camp, we used the kitchen to cook the fish that we received in Flateyri a couple of days ago.  Ashley made fish soup and I grilled a few pieces on the grill with garlic and butter.
