July 7-9: Ferry from Tangier to Genoa

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from a 50+ hour ferry ride from Tangier to Genoa but it ended up being extremely comfortable and relaxing.  We were able to upgrade our suite to one at the front of the ship so our view from the cabin was exceptional.  We carried on a ton of food from the campervan but also had two 50 euro vouchers for food on the ship.  Although the food was nothing to write home about, it was nice to have food prepared for us during the two day journey.

Besides the amazing view, the room itself was awesome with a perfect climate controlled environment, comfortable bed, and our own private bathroom.  I can’t tell you how much I appreciate having our own toilet facilities – it’s incredible.
