June 18: Happy Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day from Morocco!  We had lunch at our new Berber friend’s house. The cozy ocean front shack/home has a small kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. But, the showstoppers were the porch overlooking the ocean and a swing that precariously hung over a cliff high above the crashing waves. We took a ride on the swing and enjoyed an octopus dinner on the porch as we took in the breathtaking views.

The walk to the house was equally as beautiful as our final resting stop as we walked close to the limestone cliffs and above the Atlantic Ocean.  We saw several amateur fishermen attempting to catch dinner along the rocky shores.  We also observed families wading in the shallow pools that formed on the rocks by the coast. It was another day of spectacular scenery that will not soon be forgotten.  It is definitely one of our favorite camping spots.
