June 4: Nid D'Aigle

After a relaxing morning at Camping Sidi-Wassay, we traveled to our next coastal campsite. Along the way, we made one stop in a small village where Ashley bought vegetables and fresh cut steaks.

The route to  Nid D’Aigle in Tamellalt involved a white-knuckled drive along a narrow, steeply pitched  road with dramatic drops off the passenger side of our vehicle.  As one might expect, this spot featured breathtaking views of the ocean from a lovely vantage point high atop the city below. Besides being a campsite, Nid D’ Aigle has a restaurant and hotel to go along with being a famous tourist spot for paragliders.  In addition to the view, the high altitude provided us with cool temperatures.

We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with coleslaw while enjoying our spectacular views.  The rest of the day was spent reading and enjoying the cool ocean breeze.
