June 16: Camping Terre d'Ocean
After a long day of waiting around, we finally left Aman’s garage as the last of our minor repairs was completed. The big ones for me were the electrical issues with the transformer and campervan connection cover. The others were pretty simple but necessary and now our home on wheels feels ready for just about anything.
We arrived at Camping Terre d’Ocean, which was about 40 minutes north of Agadir on our way to Essaouira, which is famous for its oysters. The campsite sits high atop the Atlantic Ocean and provides amazing views of the waters below and picturesque sunsets. We immediately took advantage of the amenities of this highly rated resting spot as we prepared a ton of radish kimchi. I also took the opportunity to prepare and subsequently devour a delicious cheeseburger minus the bun.
Exhausted from last night’s lack of sleep (barking dogs and trumpeting chickens), we showered and we’re in bed before 10:00 pm.
