June 11: Legzira Beach

We left our camp and headed to Sidi Ifni with our new German friends. Our first stop was the big local market where we bought fruits, nuts, eggs,  and vegetables. Next, we had a quick lunch where I enjoyed the house specialty — grilled sardines.  They were quite tasty with just a touch of salt.

Our final stop was this evening’s campsite, which overlooked the ocean.  Legzira Beach  had everything — including camel rides and ATV tours. We decided on the ATV guided tour, which was spectacular and cost us only about $8.00.  Beside the natural arch, the beach with its red cliffs gave you the sense you were on a different planet, specifically Mars.
