June 1: Agadir
After our long journey back to Morocco yesterday , we slept in this morning as we enjoyed the comfortable bed and cool air conditioning in our spacious room. Traveling can do a job on your sleep cycles and we sluggishly moved around before going to pick up our camper van. The crew was doing some last minute work so we relaxed in the shade of this rustic mechanic shop in Agadir.
Ashley found a cute and inexpensive (about $30) Airbnb where we spent the evening. Before turning in for the night, we met a guy from Agadir who took us to a local restaurant for harira, a traditional tomato-based soup with chickpeas and lentils. The soup was absolutely delicious and the price was even better – only 30 cents a bowl.
