April 8: Tennis Anyone?

After our sunrise walk on the boardwalk, we met an awesome couple from New Hampshire who just arrived in Las Lagunas last night.  We immediately connected with them (they have a relative who lives in Waltham) and decided to grab a cup of coffee together. Both the husband and wife are retired educators (makes sense that they are such awesome people) who love to play tennis and golf. Much like myself, the husband was making his first trip to Europe and was really enjoying the experience.

We ended up playing tennis and pickleball on the tennis courts of their apartment complex.  It was so much fun to be on the court again.  Ashley was a natural at pickleball and received her first tennis lesson.  Our New Hampshire friends were excellent players and gracious hosts.

After a quick shower, we made the 2-hour drive to the Port of Algeciras where we purchased our ferry ticket to Morocco for tomorrow morning.  With ticket purchased, we parked in a free lot and settled in for the evening.
