April 27: The Long Road Home

We awoke at 3:30 am as we prepared for our trip back to the United States.  The first portion of our journey was a 2.5 hour taxi ride from Agadir to Marrakech airport.  This comfortable ride cost us only $90. 

After getting through security, we boarded a Swiss Airlines flight to Zürich.  We were both immediately impressed with the service in the form of food and drinks. This 3-hour trip flew by as I dozed off between bites.

We had a short layover in Zurich before boarding another Swiss Air flight to Boston. This leg of the journey was about 8.5 hours, which were easily filled by 3 movies, some light reading and two meals.

The last part of our trip was a 10 minute taxi ride that cost us $25 -  yes, we are back in America. All and all — we traveled for about 23 hours today.
