April 13: Le Relais De Marrakech

Today was a memorable day for me as we got to pick up my son at the Casablanca Airport and drove to Le Relais De Marrakech. The excitement of seeing my son after a long time was overwhelming, and the drive from Casablanca to Marrakech was spectacular.

As we drove through the beautiful Moroccan countryside, we passed through small villages, lush green fields, and towering mountains. The scenery was breathtaking, and the warm sunlight added to the beauty of it all.

The drive was long, but it flew by as we chatted about everything and caught up on each other's lives. We laughed, chatted about the local Boston sports scene, and shared plans for the future.

Finally, we arrived at our destination, and I felt a sense of contentment. It was a long day, but one that I will cherish.  Our family suite was huge as we enjoyed a drink on the balcony, which overlooked the swimming pool. Next, we ordered several traditional Moroccan plates for dinner at the restaurant downstairs.  

Overall, today was a beautiful reminder of the importance of spending time with loved ones and appreciating the little moments in life.  Tomorrow will be a busy day with pick up for our Sahara Desert 3-day tour scheduled for 7:00 am.
