April 1: Life's a Beach

Happy April Fool's Day! We headed south to the beach town of Marbella where we spent a couple of hours by the shore. I ventured into the cool waters but only for a minute or 30 seconds to be exact.  

Next, we made the 30 minute drive along the breathtaking shoreline to Torremolinos and had a delicious lunch at Chiringuito El Espeto Playa.  The highlights of our meal were the amazing view of the ocean along with the grilled lamb and sardines.  The place was packed and we quickly understood why after devouring our tasty lunch.
