March 21: Seven Hanging Valley Trail

We left our campsite in Lagos and made the 45 minute drive to the Seven Hanging Valley Trail in Algarve. The 3+ mile trek provides amazing views of the rust colored limestone cliffs, secluded beaches, and large naturally formed caves. The hike along the rugged cliffs reminded us of the one that we completed at the White Cliffs of Dover.

Since I wasn’t feeling that great, we passed on the kayak tour of the caves but intend to try it tomorrow.
