February 8: Syracuse

After spending a little extra time at our campsite, we made the 30 minute drive to Catania.  Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate with our plan to explore this busy city.  So, we continued on to Syracuse and found a campsite to relax and wait out the rainy weather.

We ate gnocchi with the homemade sauce that I made in the morning — it was pretty damn good if I say so myself.  Moving forward, I will never again buy sauce in a jar.
