February 27: France

All good things must come to an end and today was the day we left Italy.  It was a day of driving as we decided to head for Spain through France. It was a tough decision as this choice will make it nearly impossible for us to see Kim and Ron in Switzerland. We were most concerned with the cold temperatures, which were consistently forecasted for below freezing.  This weather could freeze our van’s pipes and would lead to complications that we are not willing to risk.

We drove quickly through Nice and Monaco on our way to Camping Paradise. It was pouring when we arrived so I’m not totally sure if it is a paradise or not.
