January 14: Vouliagmeni

After four busy days in Greece, we took today to relax and recharge the battery in anticipation of a trip to Athens and the Acropolis tomorrow.  We started the day by visiting Pizoma Family Winery, where we tasted and then purchased two bottles of wine (red & the award winning white).  

Next, we traveled to Vouliagmeni, a beautiful coastline city that is a favorite spot for Athenians on holiday.  We found a perfect spot right along the water where we prepared and ate lunch. We were surprised to see many people swimming even with temperatures around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
