December 24: Naksan Beach
Merry Christmas Eve! After a late night of eating and drinking, we were back at a new restaurant by 9:00 am for – you guessed it – more food and libation. I was still feeling the effects of indulging into the wee hours of the evening. But, I was definitely in the minority as Ashley and her classmates picked up right where they left off as they devoured food and lifted a glass or two. We had two more stops – a coffee stop and another restaurant – before we made the drive to Naksan Beach. This journey took us along Hangyeryeong Pass that winds its way up and back down Mount Daecheongbong.
We ended up staying at the Centummark Hotel in Yangyang. This spot was a great deal for only $46 – we had a kitchenette with a washing machine.
