November 26: Phuket

Once we arrived at Phuket International Airport, we boarded a minivan to our hotel for another hour ride. Although still pretty tired, we recovered enough to walk down Bangla Road, the most famous party venue in Phuket.  It was like New Orleans on steroids.  Bars, nightclubs and street food dominated the scene along with prostitutes, gentlemen clubs, and sex shows.  The bars had live bands and lots of pole dancing as the entertainers tried to entice revelers to enter these fine establishments for drinks and other stuff :)
