November 21: Day 9 Lycian Way Trek from Adrasan to Cirali via Olympus

 Flying solo today, I made the super challenging 16 km trek from Adrasan to Cirali.  This hike started with a climb that ended up being an 850 m ascent.  After a short stay above the trees, the rough descent began and continued for several hours.  This trek was one of the toughest of the first 9 days. Views were really limited to a few of Mount Olympos.  

We met a lovely couple from France.  We visited Chimera with its eternal flames — so cool.  We had a great time with this young couple.

Accommodations: B - (Alican Pansiyon BB)

Hotel was ok — pretty clean but pretty old and in need of repair.  Tea but no water or coffee in the room

Food: B - 

Went to a restaurant in town for dinner — food was average — not memorable but not bad.

Hike: C

Really tough 16 km hike consisting of 850 m ascent and then an even more challenging descent. The views were really limited outside of a few of Mount Olympos
