November 15: Day 3 Lycian Way Trek from Faralya to Kabak

Today’s hike was a rather short one — only 7.5 km (4.65 miles) but it was a stunning route, which hugged the coast. One of the day 3 highlights was the spectacular view of Butterfly Valley as we trekked along the coast from Faralya to Kabak.  We arrived at Shiva Camp, our resting stop for the evening and were greeted warmly by our hosts.  I made a trip down to Shail Beach for a quick swim and then we had a delicious early (3:45 pm) dinner. So far one of my favorite hikes of our ten day journey due to the beautiful views and interesting course — we had to use a rope to scale some steep rocks and scramble up some rock steps

Accommodations: B+ (Shiva Camp)

Super cute bungalow with incredible view.  Unfortunately, it  smelled like we had a dead rodent under our dwelling

Food: A

Lentil soup was the best I’ve had so far on the trip with a distinct taste of cumin.  Main dish (Meze — an eggplant based Turkish dish) was absolutely outstanding
