November 14: Day 2 Lycian Way Trek from Ovacik to Faralya

Today’s trek took us 14 km from Ovacik to Faralya. The beginning of the hike offered spectacular views of the Blue Lagoon and Oludeniz beach.  We met a real cool couple from the Ukraine — Vlad and Sonia who trekked with us for most of our trip.  For lunch, we crashed a family party and enjoyed some delicious authentic Turkish cuisine.  Hotel accommodations were a major upgrade from day 1.

Accommodations: A (Onur Motel in Faralya).  

Amazing views from the balcony, comfy bed, and extremely clean.  Shower was a dream with perfect pressure and temperature range. The view from balcony was amazing

Food: B+ 

We enjoyed free food at a family gathering.  We questioned whether this invitation would ever occur in the US.  Family warmly welcomed us and our hiking companions literally into their backyard to eat with family
