January 11: Paradise Island

A and I went on a 7 hour boat trip from the hotel. After a quick breakfast, we boarded the boat and headed out to the first snorkeling spot.  

A was awesome in the water as he used the go pro to capture some cool video footage of the beautiful coral reefs and fish. We ended up going to two spots but I was a little disappointed that we didn’t see a turtle or dolphin.  

After a pretty tasty lunch, we trekked to Paradise Island where we got to chill for about two hours.  A and I had a drink at the bar before walking around the island taking pictures.

Next, we boarded the boat again for a brief fishing stop.  This part of the journey was very disappointing— don’t think anyone caught a fish except for members of the crew.

We made it to our new apartment before saying goodbye to A.  He was a bit stressed as he read the requirements for arrival into the US.  Here’s hoping his journey home is safe and stress free.
