October 8: Our Lady of the Rocks
Still feeling under the weather, we left our Dubrovnik camp and headed to Montenegro. Our first attempt to cross the border was denied in Bosnia since our third party car insurance was not valid here and we couldn’t purchase at the border. We spun around and headed for the Montenegro border where we bought insurance for 18 euros and received our green card.
Our first stop was Our Lady of the Rocks. We didn’t take the 30 euro ferry but grabbed some nice pictures. From here, we drove toward Durmitor National Park — this drive provided more spectacular views of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the two islets in the Bay of Kotor.
We eventually stopped at a restaurant for a rest but ended up eating there and also staying the evening. The idea of eating was not a good one for me as I burped all night and puked once.
