September 27: Orphans of the Storm

It was a really relaxing day highlighted by a morning core/lower body workout, some pleasure reading and another incredible sunset. I spent a good part of the day reading the book — Orphans of the Storm.

The wind and surf kept me from taking a nice swim in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. We did get a visit from Steve and his wife — a really nice German couple.  Steve and I had a beer and the four of us talked for a bit before they retreated for dinner.
