September 19: Triglav National Park

After a morning coffee, we drove the two hours to Triglav National Park in Slovenia.  The jagged mountain ranges reminded us both of the Dolomites.

We drove along the scenic road which was similar to the windy route of Gross Glockner.  We stopped several times to take pictures— one of my favorites was by a turquoise lake.

In the afternoon, we hiked along the Soca River. We ended up at a little church that provided more amazing views!

After the hike, we went to an awesome campsite with a fire pit, bathrooms and several places to lounge on hammocks.  The campsite was right along the Saco river that provided more picturesque spots.
