September 10-11: White Cliffs of Dover
Saturday, September 11
I woke up early and had a coffee and then walked from the H Mart parking lot to Starbucks for an Americano. When I returned, we spent over $150 at the market as we prepared for Korean Thanksgiving. Ashley was in great spirits.
Next, we drove for about three hours to Hawthorne Campsite — just outside of Dover. I did a workout as soon as we arrived and then we had a Korean feast with dumplings and kimchi.
The campsite is awesome— clean amenities and a quiet train that passes by hourly.

We had a relaxing yet productive morning at Hawthorne Farm Campsite. After another solid workout, I did some laundry and Ashley cooked Mackerel and zucchini for lunch.
I made a delicious omelet and then had Irish soda bread with our homemade plum jam — so good. After cleaning all of our dishes in the lovely dishwashing area, we headed out to the White Cliffs of Dover. The area definitely reminded us of the Seven Sisters Cliff walk. We took and posed for many cool pics — we found a really nice spot where we took several of each other and us together.
After the hike, I watched the Pats lose and slept a total of 2 hours before driving to the Dover Ferry to catch the 2:20 am ride.
