July 21-23: Arthur's Seat

Thursday, July 21

It was another relatively quiet day in Edinburg.  We both worked out and then ate a huge breakfast.  After a quick shower, I attacked the Egypt video like a pit bull.  I added voiceover to the beginning, middle and end.  The middle portion was unfortunately muffled because of the music that I added on YouTube.  I need to come up with a solution to add proper music to these videos – ugh.

We took another long walk and enjoyed this wonderful city. On the walk, we discussed the need to get an adapter/step down transformer so that we can plug in the van when we go to campsites.  I’m excited about getting into the van and exploring Croatia.

The resting continues for us.  We both worked out again – Ashley doing a run and some strength training – it was another strength training workout for me.  From there, it was breakfast and time to attack another video – the Dolomites.  This time – I again added various voice overs and downloaded music in iMovie so I could adjust where it played and didn’t play.  Think it may have been my best one  yet – the title was definitely my best effort – Dolomites: They’re Real  and They’re Spectacular!  I also added a short video about Ponte Vecchio.  We are up to 6 subscribers – only 994 more and 3988 hours before monetization kicks in.

We finally headed back into town as we made it to the Royal Mile and scaled Arthur’s Seat.  I really like the Royal Mile with its bars, restaurants and tourists— there is a really good energy.  Next, we scaled Arthur’s Seat and then went to the bookstore to buy The World from Lonely Planet and a world map.
