July 13: Ben Nevis
We got up to a bit of rain so we packed our belongings and headed to Ben Nevis, which is the highest mountain in Great Britain. We stopped along the way to eat breakfast and got to the base at about 11:30 am.
The hike is expected to take between 7 and 7.5 hours so we decided to do just a portion of it. The hike was straight up the whole way with no real end or sight. It provided some spectacular views. We trekked for about 3 hours and then headed to our campsite which was really close to Ben Nevis.
