July 12: The Storr
Another day — another hike. This one was a show stopper — a definite bucket list hike right up there with Tre Cime. The Storr was an epic hike that combined the beauty of Tre Cime and Seceda with the added value of overlooking The Minch, which is a large body of water connecting the Atlantic Ocean. It was a video and picture taking bonanza. I once again climbed to a high point for photo opps. The over two hour hike was spectacular from start to finish.
Next, we droe to Creag En Fheilidh for a spectacular view of the coastline with a waterfall thrown in for good measure. At this point, we decided to check into a campsite and spend the night. The campsite was awesome with showers, electricity and laundry. We took full advantage of all the amenities and also took a walk down the beach, which was also beautiful. As promised, we saw a few dinosaur prints— super cool.
