June 29: Bike Ride to Netherlands

We got up early and were out of the house by 5:15 am and just caught the sunrise as we again took the bike path to Knokk and onto the Netherlands.  Our butts were killing us from yesterday’s ride — Ashley was being super cautious after yesterday’s fall. With all this, we still enjoyed the tranquil dawn bike ride.

We got back to the house by 9:00 am and had breakfast before returning to our room to rest and relax for the remainder of the day.  I committed to a goal of creating an Instagram reel about last year and tried to write a script.

Besides lunch and a walk for ice cream, the day was uneventful and quiet.  We booked a bus ticket to London and tried to sell our Bryan Adams tickets so we could buy for an earlier event.
