June 18: Last Day in Manarola

We got up at 4:30 am to get some early morning pics of Manarola.  The view of the marina was beautiful at the crazy hour. 

After checking out of our lovely hotel, we caught a train to La Spezia with plenty of time to catch our next train to Rome. The ride to Rome was on time with no drama — we didn’t sit next to each other so I read for most of the trip.

After dropping off some luggage at a Korean guest house to lighten our load, we took another train then a taxi to reach our hotel. Lights out by 9:00 pm.
