April 5: Back to the USA
Incredibly, we were off for more food and drink with our Korean friends. I was stuffed and felt sick trying to eat prepared fish, beef and a wide array of side dishes. Ashley, once again, put on an eating clinic. She is a championship eater of epic proportions. Mr Lee and I were obviously still feeling the effects of the night before as we both played more with our food than ate it.
From the restaurant , we took a ride by the airport to a really nice spot along the harbor for some dessert. This time — I put on the eating clinic as we enjoyed tiramisu, delicious purple pastries and the softness bread one could imagine.
Having stuffed our faces one last time, we headed to the airport for our flight to San Francisco. We had no problems checking in and just relaxed.
It was weird when I headed to one gate and Ashley to another (she actually went to the Asiana lounge). We texted a bunch before my flight took off — I didn’t eat, watched the Jackie Robinson story and tried to sleep in some uncomfortable economy seats.
