March 5: Boracay

Nice chill day — it started early with a long walk along the beach and then off to the market. The beach was pretty crowded even at 6:00 am.  The market was super cool with butchers cutting up cows and people selling fresh fish including oysters.

We had a tasty breakfast and then headed back out to explore the beach and the d*mall, which was a bunch of high end shops and restaurants.  It was a very cool spot and it was a challenge not to eat something— Kimchi did buy a bottle of wine at an Italian market.  I really wanted to buy an Italian sub.


Next,  it was back to the hotel — I hurried off for a one hour CBS workout at the gym.  We showered and headed out for lunch. We went to an Italian restaurant that was very disappointing but then went to a traditional Filipino one that was excellent— we had the chicken adobo.  Think we might be back. 


We spent the last couple of hours on the beach enjoying the sunset and the wine.  Perfect ending to a perfect day
