March 4: Boracay

Today was dedicated to travel as we moved from El Nido to Boracay. After breakfast, we headed to the airport by tuk tuk at 6:30 am.  Picked up my lost shoes at the airport and we headed to Manila for the connecting flight to our final destination.

Once we arrived at the airport, it was off on another tuk tuk ride to a ferry for the short trip to Boracay Island.  After a quick rest at the Boracay Holiday Resort, we went out to eat and explore the beach area for sunset. The Korean restaurant we went to was disappointing but the sunset wasn’t.  The beach was absolutely beautiful with a ton of people— mostly Filipinos. We ended up at a restaurant on the beach and caught happy hour -  Kimchi had a beer and I had two margaritas.  We also ordered a thin crust pizza. The view and music were spectacular.  Oh what a night!!!
