March 20: Korean Church in Cebu

 We woke up at about 5:00 am as our boat made its way to Cebu.  I didn’t sleep great in our tight quarters — felt pretty groggy without coffee.  We eventually got a taxi and headed to our hotel. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t allow an early check in so I took a walk for some coffee .

With a firm 1:00 pm check in, we did some quick grocery shopping and headed to a Korean church.  We took a taxi to a fruit stand where we bought yellow watermelon (yum) and  mangosteen (double yum). From here, it was off to church in a crowded  jeepney.  Church was pretty good — great chorus and post prayer meal. 

Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped and had some tasty chicken.  When we finally got into our spacious hotel room (Appleton Hotel), I did a workout before enjoying a warm shower.
