March 17: Legazpi

Happy St Patrick’s Day! It was another travel day.  After a CBS workout and Vietnamese Pho for breakfast, we made our way to Manila airport for a 12:00 pm flight to Legazpi. We had no problems again in this short flight as we arrived at our modest Mayon View Garden Apartments. Although the room wasn’t great and the town had a brownout until 5:00 pm (no ac), the views were excellent!! 

After a small meal downtown, we made our way to a picturesque spot for some sunset pics of Mount Mayon.  It was absolutely spectacular— better than the Pyramids?
