March 14: Pass Island

Happy Pi Day from Coron.  We did the “Reefs and Wrecks” tour today and it was outstanding from the snorkeling at Coral Gardens to the beach and lunch at Pass Island. 

Kimchi got some amazing videos of clownfishes — the fish from Finding Nemo.  The coral at Coral Gardens didn’t disappoint— it was unquestionably the most incredible coral we’ve seen so far. The second wreck also provided spectacular views of coral and fish.

After a morning of snorkeling, we headed to Pass Island to have lunch and relax.  Pass Island was definitely one of the most peaceful and picturesque spots on our trip.  Lunch was delicious as we again ate like pigs—tasty chicken adobo and crab. After lunch, we relaxed, swam and took a bunch of pics. Sadly, we left the Island at 4:00 pm and arrived back at our dock at 6:00 pm
