February 25: Back to Manila

It was a long ass day as we made the 6 hour trip from Aliminos to Manila.  We got up at 3:30 and got to the bus station before 5.  Unfortunately, we found out that the bus to Manila didn’t leave until 8. Ugh — tired, and not a toilet in sight.

The bus was super cold and played two John Wick movies. We both slept a bit during the long journey.  When we got to the hotel, Kimchi napped and I worked out.  

Next, we walked down to little Korea to check out some restaurants and stop by a market.  We eventually made it to one restaurant for kimchi and tofu— it was delicious. The place was hilarious with huge gas tanks in the middle of the floor -- need to check with my friends from the Waltham Fire Department to see if this setup would pass code.
