February 22: Dagupan

2.22.22 — just one of several consecutive palindromes in the later portion of February.  It was also the day that I had my first cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee in 112 days.  It was worth the wait — absolutely delicious along with two tasty donuts. 

After this less than nutritious breakfast, Kimchi and I descended on the local market to buy some fruit and vegetables.  We also enjoyed traditional Filipino food — another tasty treat. 

The rest of the day we relaxed in our hotel (Ragtime) before I snuck out for a Yumburger from Jolli  (Philippines' answer to fast food).  The burger and fries were ok —I  think the best part was the pineapple juice.  

We decided to take the 5:30 am bus from Dagupan to Alimonos tomorrow morning— I was actually angling for the 8:00 am bus but got overruled by Kimchi.
