December 23: Back to Muscat Again

We’re heading back to Muscat.  After an awesome night’s sleep and workout, we headed out on the 2+ hours drive to Muscat International Airport to pick up H’s luggage.  Her bag was temporarily lost on her flight here from Germany. 

We met H and Ghassan for lunch to review our plan.  It was great catching up with H — what a great person.  

Next, we stopped at Lulu Hypermarket to buy dinner for H and food/snacks for our four day adventure tour part II with Ghassan.  We also stopped by the mall — I bought water shoes and H purchased sunglasses. Saw the first sign of Christmas decorations 

Accommodations: A++

Deal of the century — big, comfortable room was impeccably clean.  It came with complimentary water and coffee.  The cost?  Only 7 OMR or $18.20 — brilliant work again by Kimchi 

Food: B (Arabian Restaurant near H’s  hotel)

We had pretty good camel and goat meat.  It was not a memorable dining experience— ok but not great.
