December 19: Masirah Beach Camp

The day started early with a 5:15 am wake up. We walked the beach, which was lit up by a brilliant full moon.  We were in search of flamingos and ultimately stumbled upon a group of nearly fifteen.  Unfortunately, they were a little distant from us.  I did a spirited CBS workout right along the water as Kimchi jogged along the beach.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we headed out with Zaal and his buddy along with a very nice Indian family.  We had an awesome boat ride as we explored the waters for dolphins and we weren’t disappointed.  We observed several schools of both white and black ones.  Zaal dived a bunch to catch three lobsters and three fish.

We stayed a second night at this super relaxing, stress relieving Hideaway.  Gentle breezes kept you comfortable even in the midday sun.

Food: A

Chef continues to impress with a delicious breakfast of crepes and omelets.  The crepes, in particular, were perfectly cooked and tasty.
